Hi, I’m Jayne — the proud owner of Hydelen Dog Walking and Pet Services.
I founded Hydelen Dog Walking and Pet Services to provide dependable, compassionate support to local pet owners. With over 20 years in a professional career built on trust, responsibility and integrity, I understand the importance of reliability and high standards — values that are reflected in every walk and visit I provide.
I specialise in caring for large‑breed dogs, senior companions, lead‑reactive and nervous dogs, as well as dogs with a strong prey drive. These are the dogs who often need a gentler pace, a steadier hand, and a calm, grounded presence — and that’s exactly what I offer.
At HYDELEN, every dog is welcomed as if they’re stepping into a quiet woodland walk: steady, reassuring, and full of space to breathe. Whether your companion is powerful, sensitive, or simply needs a little extra understanding, they’ll be met with patience, warmth, and the same thoughtful care that inspires everything I do.

About me
Animals have been at the centre of my life for as long as I can remember. Caring for dogs, cats, rabbits and other small animals has always come naturally, and growing up surrounded by them gave me a deep understanding of their personalities, needs and the patience they deserve.
My world revolves around dogs, both personally and professionally. At home, I’m happily married and share life with three wonderful dogs: two majestic Pyrenean Mountain Dogs and our beloved rescue, Max. Living with such a varied pack has given me hands on insight into canine behaviour. My experience with large breeds means I’m confident with dogs of all sizes, while my journey with Max has taught me the empathy and steadiness needed for rescues and more sensitive temperaments.
I’m committed to the highest standards of care. Each week I invest time in formal training across obedience, agility and ringcraft. This dedication takes us to Crufts annually, where we proudly show our Pyreneans and represent the breed at Discover Dogs. Beyond the show ring, I volunteer with one of our Pyreneans as a therapy dog, supporting wellbeing within the community. I bring this same level of expertise, patience and devotion to every pet I look after.
Alongside my established career, Hydelen Dog Walking and Pet Services allows me to offer flexible, pre booked and ad hoc support while growing the business thoughtfully and sustainably. Every pet receives the time, attention and care they deserve.
